[edit]If anyone can be bothered removing the weasel words (e.g. "Just x seconds to 60mph!") could be worth doing, especially since VW will be in full astroturf mode right now... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.222.2.222 (talk) 23:34, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page
[edit]Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Copyediting required
[edit]So this Volkswagen information page has an exact copy of a lot of the Golf SV wording. Someone needs to take a look at it (i'm not doing it as i'm semi-retired so good luck with that). Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 12:11, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Volkswagen Golf Mk7. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20140222143434/http://www.vw.co.za/en/models/new-golf/trimlevel_overview.s9_trimlevel_detail.suffix.html/new-golf~2F2-0-tdi-comfortline.html to http://www.vw.co.za/en/models/new-golf/trimlevel_overview.s9_trimlevel_detail.suffix.html/new-golf~2F2-0-tdi-comfortline.html#/tab=fe720bd9f52787dfbe6c23ee27572adf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).

"minus up to 105 kg" is not true
(free translation: in 2012, before the Golf Mk VII was available, VW prefigured that the Golf VII would be up to 100 kg lighter than the Mk6. Indeed, the Leergewicht of the Mk7 with the smallest engine is 24 kg lower than the one of the Mk6 (mainly due to high tec steel), the weight of the 1.6 TDI BlueMotion Technology is 23 kg lower and that of the 2.0 TDI BlueMotion is 11 kg less.
Afaik, these figures are correct => forget the "up to 105 kg minus" (too good to be true ...) --Neun-x (talk) 03:05, 26 June 2016 (UTC)

[edit]"The Golf R and e-Golf are the only Golf models available in North America still produced in Germany" Unsourced.. is this still accurate? Jacobssteph (talk) 20:35, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan
[edit]I propose to split the pages like as Volkswagen Golf Plus and the others wiki language, because isn't the same car; it is a MPV with some many notable difference and peculiar characteristics, for example length, wheelbase and Height, this means that they have intervened by modifying and lengthening the frame. Finally, it was rewarded with significant prizes Red Dot Design Award 2015 [1] e IF Product Design Award 2015 [2].5.91.124.244 (talk) 01:22, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
