Rename to Volkswagen Teramont

[edit]

Please rename the title of this page to Volkswagen Teramont. Thanks. 118.137.134.232 (talk) 12:25, 6 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Uh, why? The name isn't even mentioned in the article. And please provide reliable, published sources that explain why. Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 12:40, 6 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the source: http://www.carscoops.com/2016/09/new-volkswagen-teramont-full-size.html 118.137.134.232 (talk) 13:10, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You mean this: "The internet has once again broken down the walls surrounding Volkswagen’s upcoming three-row crossover, which some believe might be called the “Teramont”." ? (Emphasis mine.) That indicates the name “Teramont” is still speculative. We have to wait until VW makes an official announcement to rename the page. - BilCat (talk) 17:27, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
VW has announced the name will be the Volkswagen Atlas per [1]. This is why we wait until the official announcement! - BilCat (talk) 18:24, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Per this blog, it appears that VW has announced the the official name of the Chinese-built version of the Atlas will be the Teramont. The "official" official announcement will be at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November. It won't surprise me if it's a different name, but for now it's official. - BilCat (talk) 23:06, 1 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
