Innuendo re: CSM profile
[edit]I just removed a segment of this story that suggests that, because the author of the CS Monitor piece started writing for VOSD three months later, that he had a conflict of interest when writing the story for the CSM. Seems pretty shaky to me; I've not heard of anyone accused of retroactive bias for writing about a subject and then later becoming involved with it. Isn't that a bit like Victor Kiam liking Remington Razors so much, he bought the company? (Disclosure: I have known Dotinga since college. I have no affiliation with the CSM or VOSD or any other San Diego media.) Personally, the lengthy CSM quote seems awfully self-serving, too. I'm not sure if it's relevant at all. - I've removed the lengthy media quotes as well as the insinuation of a retroactive conspiracy, and moved both the CSM and NYT references to a new media section. Jsnell (talk) 00:06, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
