The article seems to have veered away from what it was when I initially created it. It seems to be as much about flavoured vodka as vodka infusion now, though they aren't necessarily the same things. I don't think simply adding flavourings to vodka is infusion, the infusion is the process of the alcohol drawing the flavours out of the other ingredients itself. As such, it would probably be limited to only natural ingredients. It's a traditional hobby in some countries but I wouldn't have thought many commercial brands use this method (though a few certainly do). I don't suppose there is a strict definition of the term, but it's interesting to see what other people think. Perhaps I should have a go at cleaning up the article ? --WaterWolf23:07, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I must have misunderstood. So taking lemon peel, putting it into vodka (without sugar) is vodka infusion but the commercially available stuff is "flavored vodka"? That's fine, and if that is the case I would support separate articles for each. Badagnani00:19, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
