I shall review this article. TAP 22:24, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to strike the below when done or commenting on it.

Lead
  • Entire
  • Please remove references 4 and 5 from the lead as they are used in the article. Per 1b.
  • With references 6 and 7, they are only in the lead. The information should be mentioned in the article, if possible.
  • "Modernist" ⇒ "modernist"?
  • "Postmodernism" ⇒ "postmodernism". Also, could link to postmodernism.

I think its common to see capital letters for this. Request a third party to comment on it.

Early Life
  • Paragraph 1
  • Short, but grand.
  • Paragraph 2
  • "of Allied-occupied" ⇒ "of allied-occupied".
  • Paragraph 3

That's not essential but I will do so.♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:12, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Career
  • Paragraph 1
  • Rosslyn
  • Grand.
  • Other works in the 1960s
  • "that was the first skyscraper in the city" — unlink skyscraper, linked in lead.
Its customary to link in lead and then once in the body.♦ Dr. Blofeld 08:39, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The first major office building to be constructed on the Georgetown waterfront in 50 years,[34] it formerly housed the Henry J. Kaufman advertising firm" — new sentence in middle?
No, the citation is in the middle of sentence after the comma.
  • Works from the 1970s
  • "By the end of 1975, the New York Times was reporting that Koubek's firm had designed roughly half the office buildings built in the District of Columbia since the 1950s" — link NYT article fully; The New York Times.
if you look at the pipe link it already does this.
  • The Willard renovation
  • Critic Paul Goldberger, writing for New York Times declared the renovation ingenious" — {{when}}?
1986. Added
  • Other 1970s projects
  • Grand.
  • Works of the 1980s
  • "He also designed Shockoe Plaza (now known as Shockoe Slip), a seven-building ..." ⇒ "He also designed Shockoe Slip (formerly Shockoe Plaza), a seven-building ..."
Changed.
  • Final works
  • Fine.
Other activities
Changed.
Later years and death
  • Grand.
Design philosophy
  • Fine.
Legacy
  • Bit of a list, could be rewritten.
Well, it is a list of notable works really so I think its appropriate.

I shall put this on hold until the issues above have been addressed. Thanks! TAP 18:28, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
