Double Box Art
The infobox now contains a picture of both the standard and limited edition box art, however this makes the infobox excessively wide squasing the lead. I think we should only have the standard box in the infobox and maybe a picture of the limited edition somewhere else in the article. Anybody have any objections to this suggestion? SkorponokX 13:29, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- I think that seems like a very reasonable suggestion. --Slordak 15:17, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- I was thinking the same thing, but I'm not confident enough in my Wiki skills to do it, so I figured I'd leave it to one of you guys. :P Kaoskastle 16:29, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- I created a special edition section that has a quick bit of info on what the special edition included and move the box art image to that section. --BaldMonkey 22:47, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Clean up
can some one here help me clean up the article as it seems very informal at the moment and isnt written properly, i have removed some sorces of information to make it more tidier.--Paul 11:46, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
This article is very poorly writen. The first two sections are written like a videogame preview you'd find on IGN or Gamespot, and everything from the "Animbassadors" section and onward doesn't even make sense. For one, what does it mean by "Extra animbassadors are Bonboon, Maccaracoon, Twingersnap, Fizzlybear, Pretztail." Shouldn't that be "Known animbassadors include...", or something generally better written? And why are 4Kids' expectations for the series included there? Furthermore, the line "Although he is one of the main characters in the animated series, Horstachio is not a species of piñata in the video game." Is actually false: while the character from the series is not in the game, screenshots have proven that the species is inclided.--Tenka Muteki 21:14, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. This article needs cleanup. Starting with deletion of around half of the Gameplay section. There's a lot of information there that doesn't fit in the context of an encyclopaedia. Ong elvin (talk) 13:45, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Vivapinata comiccon.jpg
Image:Vivapinata comiccon.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

External Links section
To the anonymous user (84.189.49.80) repeatedly adding PinataIsland.com, stop it. WP:LINKS explicitly states to avoid linking to forums without good reason. Ong elvin (talk) 15:31, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Added a hidden comment to the External Links section; maybe 84.189.49.80 will see it before adding the Forum link again. Ong elvin (talk) 15:37, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Where did you get the information about Profitamole, Cinnamonkey, and Les Galagoogoo? I haven't seen those mentioned anyplace else before.

Needs Gameplay Screenshots.
The casual reader might be curious on what the gameplay looks like. Really would hjelp if it had screenshots. Abby724 18:55, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

List of Pinatas
Hey, guys. Just writing to say that I'm working on the future "List of Pinatas in Viva Pinata" page. Everyone's okay with this going in, right? Kaoskastle 04:29, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'm okay with it as long as it's done in a reasonable fashion, i.e. doesn't wind up too crufty or looking too much like a FAQ. And yes, it definitely needs to be in its own article. Thanks. --Slordak 13:00, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- I think that would be fine. ⊕Assasin Joe talk 22:10, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- I can't see how it would pass the whole "no game guide" thing. I'd really suggest not doing it to begin with. 69.113.94.183 (talk) 00:35, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Sales
Can someone get some sales figures out if possible?
What do you mean? ⊕Assasin Joe talk 18:45, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

BetacommandBot (talk) 21:32, 5 December 2007 (UTC) As any game must be improved, so must the viva pinata games. I work at Nintendo and we are planning to release a new viva pinata for wii very soon. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.104.232.41 (talk) 03:20, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

The PC Version and it's criticism
The PC port of it is known not to have the equal quality in terms of absence of bugs compared to the xbox release. I believe that this should be added, because this criticism is very wide-spread. All major gaming magazines complain of it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alrik Fassbauer (talk • contribs) 15:23, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
Define or link Pinatta
A definition needs to be seen, as i have never heard of one.
Piñata Link
The term Piñata is linked within the article.
The piñata is a bright candy-and-toy-filled container (generally suspended on a rope from a tree branch or ceiling) that is used during celebrations. A succession of blindfolded, stick-wielding people (most often children) try to break the piñata in order to collect the candy inside of it.
