Does that say.....MUSICAL?

Yeah, this shit is terrible. --72.75.90.45 02:51, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I taped it and I'm watching it right now. I'm sorry, but musicals were intended for film, not TV. Especially when the original vocals are present in the background. I also hate it when I rant on about my opinion of the show when this really isn't what WP talk pages are for. Oh well. Let's keep the general discussion to a minimum. -- M (speak/spoken) 23:10, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nine Network cancellation: after one episode or two?

[edit]

There's some ambiguity regarding whether or not the Nine Network actually canceled the show after the first airing. Stephen is absolutely adamant that a second episode did air in a late-night slot, but so far the only citable evidence of that which has been found is a TV Guide program listing that is no longer viewable. This puts the whole thing in a delicate situation, because per WP:V we have to go with what can be verified, and there are literally dozens of sources out there which claim that the show was pulled from the Nine Network after one airing, not two. Thus, it is absolutely vital that some citable, permanent source is found that can clarify the situation. -- Y|yukichigai (ramble argue check) 03:46, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A thought just occurred to me: both viewpoints may technically be correct. Take, for example, Painkiller Jane: the series itself was canceled well before the last episode aired, but the actual date of cancellation remains the same. -- Y|yukichigai (ramble argue check) 23:44, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In the States, I suppose everyone has the right to ask the FCC about what actually made it on the air. The networks have to provide some sort of log. Check with Aussie authorities? MMetro 09:03, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I found a Google cache for it: [1] Internet Archive for YourTV only goes up to the end of August at the moment, and there's no guarantee that it'll get it on the right day. But I did watch the second episode, so I know it aired. I don't suppose my tape would be a source ;) VaughnJess 03:06, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possible broadcast of remaining 6 episodes?

[edit]

There's been speculation the remaining episodes of Viva Laughlin may be broadcast as other shows start to leave the air due to the writers strike and the networks scramble for new content to fill the void. I haven't heard anything yet, but this should be watched in case an update is warranted. 68.146.41.232 17:04, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Names

[edit]

IMDb has the second episode as What A Whale Wants, but in Australia (see above Google cache link) it was I'm Still Standing. Are these the same episode with a different title, different episodes, or has either IMDb or YourTV got it wrong? VaughnJess 04:52, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
