Active imagination
[edit]From what I know of active imagination, this is incorrect. Active Imagination is a way of working with dreams, allowing them to unfold in all sensory channels, not only visual. There is a connection between visual language and active imagination, but it is tenous and they are not by any means the same.
This article had ben started and I thought was too important not to develop it. All comments welcome to improve it.

removed from article
[edit]I removed this bit just now as I found it incoherent. If someone later feels it's important and can rework it, here 'tis:

Wiki editing as Visual Language
[edit]If thought processes in composing written text is of interest to researchers in Visual Language, than differences between "unsaved" edit versions of a wiki article would provide voluminous data using a large site like Wikipedia. Would MediaWiki need to be further "instrumented" to allow these intra-edit changes to be logged. See Language_production#Speech_Errors and Speech_error.
