People's feelings about losing their vision
[edit]I removed "The effects of visual loss can, before the acquisition of alternative adaptations and skills, be devastating; especially when a person's vision disappears over a short period of time" from the opening and "is almost always alarming to the person experiencing the loss" from the "Acute Visual Loss" section. These are valid statements, although I don't think they fit the tone of an encyclopedia. I figure them best removed. Air.light (talk) 04:52, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
