@Phoe I nominated this page for deletion. == Proposed deletion of Viscount Carrington ==
The article Viscount Carrington has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
refimprove.
Perhaps there are other citations that support Francis Smith, 2nd Viscount Carrington which could support this page, otherwise, it is unsubstantiated.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Rhadow (talk) 16:32, 22 July 2017 (UTC)
- I don't know if this is still proposed, but I wish to oppose it strongly if it is. I have just spent 2 days puzzling over the genealogy of Francis Smith and this is the first indication that there were three distinct Carrington Baronies, which explains why the Burkes Peerage family tree doesn't fit. 87.115.177.145 (talk) 20:35, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
