[edit]This technique is taught at Osteopathic medical schools in the US. Currently trying to add osteopathic info to Wikipedia. Trying to get a Wikiproject Osteopathic Medicine started. See Category:Osteopathic medicine.Osteopathic!Freak talk 21:14, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
This article could really use some references, especially for the word "effective". Is it effective? As a student osteopath I am interested to know. BlackDice572 (talk) 10:41, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
VM is taught BY an Osteopath (J-P Barral), but is not [exclusively] an Osteopathic technique; Structural Integrators are using, teaching, and developing VM. To say it is a revival of an ancient technique is misleading. Effective? -very. Last week I had a client who could not stand up because of low back pain. After releasing a fixed kidney, he could stand, jump, walk, etc. ~Jamie Huntsberger —Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.244.49.181 (talk) 16:26, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
