Greenland & The Faroe Islands
[edit]Since Albania is neither member of the European Union nor part of the Schengen Area, there is no visa-free access to Greenland and The Faroe Islands. "Travelling to and residence in Greenland" Talk/♥фĩłдωəß♥\Work 21:45, 16 June 2016 (UTC)
- Absolutely untrue. On that very page, when you click on List of countries requiring visas Albania is not listed. According to your original research only the EU citizens have visa-free access to Greenland and The Faroe Islands which is not the case. The only difference is for those who do require a visa, for them Danish proper visa is not sufficient.--Twofortnights (talk) 10:05, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
- I do admit it is confusing. Well, it seems I was wrong and I have found a source that clearly says so: Færøerne og Grønland "Statsborgere fra visumfri lande behøver ikke visum". Had I only found it earlier. I am sorry about that. Talk/♥фĩłдωəß♥\Work 10:50, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
Visa requirements for Albanian citizens
[edit]Hi, @Eu6
First, regarding Kazakhstan, I got the information from the website of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, which can have this information diplomatically, and I don't know why it is not on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan updated as information! See the link:https://punetejashtme.gov.al/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Regjimi-i-vizave-p%C3%ABr-shtetasit-shqiptar%C3%AB-update-17.03.2023.pdf Information for Albanian Citizens
Secondly, regarding Oman, the information is based on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman. see the link: https://fm.gov.om/visitors/entry-visas/ Entry visa Oman
Thanks Brizton (talk) 23:25, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Brizton,
- So, for both countries you cannot yet even board an airplane to said country without a visa since Timatic says one is required.
- For Kazakhstan I know the Albanian GOV has it on their list, but it means not much if Kazakhstan hasn't made it effective yet. Both the KZ government website and Timatic say Albanian nationals need a visa.
- For Oman there was always confusing information. I believe that link you posted groups together all possible visa free arrivals (including those that require a type of sponsorship such as a visa from a 3rd party country). For example, recent news such as this one show that Albania is not truly visa free: https://www.zawya.com/en/legal/immigration/oman-reveals-list-of-103-countries-whose-citizens-can-visit-visa-free-x2o7h8f9 This is the same exact restriction as shown in Timatic (https://www.gulfair.com/before-you-travel/visa-health-information). So, for all intents and purposes Oman is not a visa free country. Eu6 (talk) 13:54, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Visa requirements for Albanian citizens
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Visa requirements for Albanian citizens's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT⚡ 05:36, 26 April 2023 (UTC)
About Ecuador visa
[edit]Hello, @Lades2222Can you show the source of the information on which you base that Albanian citizens travel without visas to Ecuador because the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country does not have such information? Thanks Brizton (talk) 22:28, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hello. I think you saw something wrong.
- Albanians need a visa to go to Ecuador.
- The map is already colored grey.
- And it's already written in red in the section.
- I hope you take a look at them again.
- Thanks. Lades2222 (talk) 03:26, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
- You are right, sorry. Thanks Brizton (talk) 12:30, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
