Issues

[edit]

The article has been mostly wikified, I think. Remaining issues will be with sources, and plowing through them for verification, and making sure quotes are quoted, else it's plagiarism. Thoughts? --Lexein (talk) 21:48, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

To conform with general naming conventions and with related articles such as prototype, shouldn't this article be moved to Virtual prototype? – ukexpat (talk) 17:05, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tough call. Virtual prototyping is a process (verb) without a tangible direct product - just data. The VP process ideally ends when the design is handed off to manufacturing, where a real-world "first article" (noun) is built, with no physical "prototype" ever created. So I think "prototyping" is appropriate. --Lexein (talk) 17:16, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
