Neutrality
[edit]I do not believe that this write-up is neutral. I have never read some of the negative attributes written here as part of any other commentary on Virgos. Also, many of the positive attributes that I've read about Virgos elsewhere were ommitted here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.216.140.53 (talk) 01:24, August 27, 2007 (UTC)
Characteristics and related sections, removal
[edit]Notable people who share this sign section
[edit]Notable People from History born when the Sun was in Virgo
[edit]Please see the discussion on the Aries talk page regarding the suggestion that the list of notable persons should only include historical names (no living persons) and should not extend beyond 20 names. Currently the Virgo list has 15 entries:
Yasser Arafat, Ingrid Bergman, Agatha Christie, Roald Dahl, Elizabeth I, Greta Garbo, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Michael Jackson, D.H. Lawrence, Freddie Mercury, Peter Sellers, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, Mother Teresa, Leo Tolstoy, and H. G. Wells.

Unspecified 'ancient zodiac' referred to
[edit]"The ancient Zodiac began with Virgo and ended with Leo."
It's grammatically unclear which ancient zodiac is referred to here. Immediately prior to this sentence, first the Egyptian zodiac then Christian iconography are referred to. It would help if the text could be edited by the person that originally inserted this text so as to specify what ancient zodiac is being identified here. A source reference would also be very useful.
From my brief research, it doesn't look like the Egyptian zodiac began with Virgo. And the original Babylonian zodiac seems to have begun with Aries.
A Google search for 'which ancient Zodiac began with Virgo?' doesn't seem to generate any useful hits either.
