Date of birth
[edit]I just corrected her DOB from Sept 11, 1961 to Sept 11, 1963, which is what was listed in imdb. Is there a controversy about her DOB? Or is this just a mistake? --Rogerd 00:21, 10 October 2005 (UTC)
- After looking into it, it does say on quite a few sites that she graduated from high school in 1979. Also on ussearch.com there is a Virginia Madsen residing in Los Angeles, CA, age 44. --Fallout boy 08:59, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
No Sources
[edit]This article doesn't cite sources, so I added the little "nou sorces" template.
fire, hot, burn?
[edit]Is this sentence really needed? It's interesting but it is necessary in the bio of Virginia Madsen? Discuss?
sideways cap
[edit]I know we all like to avoid copyvios, but isn't making a modern movie capture look like a crappy scan of a 1920s film a little excessive? Should we convert all Wikipedia movie screenshots into blurry black and white? 69.137.223.153 18:23, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see why we can't just get an image of her from one of her movies or award shows or something, then just either link it directly to the copyright owner or tag it with the appropriate copyright information; for example, in the page dedicated to the image itself, name the photographer, publisher, year, etc.... no one likes to see a goofy silhouette of a generic woman head when they're trying to find out just who that actor/-ress was.
Vandalism
[edit]The last picture, of her and Paul Giamatti in "Sideways", has been replaced by a low-resolution South Korean flag. I don't know how to fix this problem or to report it as vandalism. CielProfond 2007-04-21, 23:14 EDT.
caught a glimpse
[edit]Nifty phrasing :-) I actually went ahead and checked in out on the history page - the wording IS accidental, but still on the spot! :-) 85.227.226.235 (talk) 18:36, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Strange Linking
[edit]The entry "Becoming Colette" in the filmography is linking to the Russian Wikipedia page of the movie. 217.80.27.96 (talk) 17:09, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
