Anthology
[edit]Regarding her anthology co-edited with Roger Elwood, as I recall it was his first anthology; she later came to regret having helped give him his start, given his effect on the anthology market. I'm not sure if that's written down somewhere. If I happen across a source for that last bit, I'll add it. But the first part is probably sourcable to Elwood's bibliography. --Pleasantville (talk) 14:44, 17 January 2008 (UTC) aka Kathryn Cramer formerly of the Virginia Kidd Literary Agency
General copyediting notes
[edit]I only found two tiny typos, so here are some general (and nit-picky) notes for this page:
-Both the first sentence of the bio section, and the sentence about Kidd’s marriages are a little awkward -- the information could possibly be re-organized to be conveyed more clearly.
-Kidd’s language school has a wiki, maybe link to it? Berlitz Corporation
-There are a lot of parenthetical notes, which doesn’t seem very common to the style of Wikipedia, if that matters to you, you might try to incorporate this information in the text.
-Most of the bibliographic info that appears near the end of the Bio section is repeated in the Publications section. I would say only include works in the Bio section that are particularly influential (and her first, or maybe last work).
-The first half of the article has very few commas and the second half has many. I don’t know if this matters, as multiple authors work on a page (and therein have different writing styles), but it was something I noticed.
-The title for “Ok O Che, (By, K.?)” is listed differently in the Bio section than it is in the Publications section.
-This might be a question for Carol, but would “Anthologies Edited/Books Edited” be a better descriptor than “Edited Books?” It kind of sounds like these are her books that are in fact edited.

Additional notes
[edit]- Is Literary Agency a field? I tend to think of it as an establishment whereas literary agents are in the larger field of publishing.
- I haven't seen a first name bolded after the first paragraph before. Is this standard?
