This sentence is not accurate -Less expensive wines from the Montepulciano region bear the label "Rosso di Montepulciano." Wines labeled Rosso di Montepulciano are DOC wines from that area and while they can be less expensive than wines carrying the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG designation that is not necessarily always the case. Therefore I have deleted the above sentence from the article.Ee60640 22:20, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Some of the content in the "Rosso di Montepulciano" is from the merged article Rosso di Montepulciano. AgneCheese/Wine 03:22, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV? I think not

[edit]

There is much content here that cannot be said to be NPOV, not to mention encyclopedic. It reads pretty much like a promotional article for the wine type. I am, however not prepared to do anything about it just yet. Gustavus Magnus (talk) 22:02, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'd be very happy to help. Many DOC/DOCG and AVA articles are like this. One good source I have to hand for Italian articles is Native Wine Grapes of Italy by Ian d'Agata (2014). — Jon (talk) 19:21, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
