Hello, thank your for this new page.
A reader mentioned it to me, and i wonder what to do about inaccuracies : 'spent a year studying literature at the Lycée Fénelon, Paris. He gained his master's degree in 1996 in medieval and modern literature at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, including a year at ' : I spent to years at Fénelon (hypokhâgne and khâgne is a two-year curriculum) ; my MA was in comparative literature; I spent 4 years (+ 2 years 'off') at the Ecole Normale Supérieure
Also : 'in the faculty of general and comparative literature in the University of Paris from 2004' : it should be 'in the faculty of Humanities in the University of Paris 13-Paris Nord from 2004'
also : 'Paris-East Créteil University.' should read 'Paris-Est Créteil University then (in 2022) at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris'
I am not ' a French medievalist' but 'a Professor in comparative literature at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris' (and also a medievalist)
by the way, the ' (PDF). Institut des textes et manuscrits modernes. Retrieved 13 June 2024.' has not been updated for years. my professional homepage ishttp://www.univ-paris3.fr/m-ferre-vincent-753457.kjsp?RH=1178827308773
Since this page has to do with 'Tolkien', maybe that the work on the www.Tolkienestate.com website / on the exhibition at the Bibliothèque nationale de france and so on are of interest. But I'm mainly concerned with the facts mentioned above. thank you VincentMFerre (talk) 07:27, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome, and many thanks. I've made the corrections and added the new source. One or two Anglicisations remain; these seem to be Wikipedia's normal usages, hope they are acceptable. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 12:37, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for your reply and the corrections. Since you are interested in Middle-earth & "Tolkien" books, you will be pleased to hear some news from France in the near future - best wishes, Vincent VincentMFerre (talk) 17:43, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
