Requested move 29 September 2022
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: no consensus. While usually an unopposed RM would be closed as "moved", {{no ping|SnowFire}}'s opposition to a similar requested move indicates that there isn't a clear consensus for this type of move, and moving some of these pages but not all of them is clearly not an ideal situation or what should happen. There are currently 9 parallel RMs for different pages with this same rationale; I am closing all of them as "no consensus" and would suggest renominating them all as part of a single RM, and notifying more editors, such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Television, to get a clear consensus of what to do for this situation. Vilangu (web series) → Vilangu (TV series) – The term "web series" is used ubiquitously -- and incorrectly -- by Indians to refer to streaming television series. The article itself says, "They are different from streaming television". Other streaming shows like Stranger Things or House of Cards are not referred to as "web series"; the latter is described in its lead as a "streaming television series". Since Vilangu was not renewed for further seasons, it might be better titled Vilangu (miniseries).
