[edit]- Damaged by the 1997 Red River Flood. Destroyed by fire in September 2000 according to National Register of Historic Places listings in Grand Forks County, North Dakota Faolin42 (talk) 21:20, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Faolin42, could you please clarify with any source, about the Viets Hotel being destroyed by fire? You link to a wikipedia article, not a valid external source, and I don't even see the content in the wikipedia article.... I do expect you know more than what is obvious here so far. Please do comment further. --doncram 21:42, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
- p.s. I see that what is currently numbered footnote 15, refers to a URL /news/herald/6_2002.html that was not found on this server. Argh. --doncram 21:45, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
- I don't really know any more about it. I was just taking the word of the National Register of Historic Places listings in Grand Forks County, North Dakota listing. At least the footnote 11 link does show that a request for removal was made 11. But I couldn't find any other confirmation on the web that the hotel had actually burned down. Don't know if it's allowed, but I could try calling the chamber of commerce tomorrow... Faolin42 (talk) 23:02, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
