It is untrue to say that graphics cards are not compliant with the HDCP standard. Many are not fully compliant and there were some false claims initially, but there are indeed now working consumer graphics cards that have HDCP compliance. See [1] for a list of compatable cards. The article should be rephrased to note that HDCP compliance is not necessarily a feature of VIVO cards and to be careful when selecting a card. 69.244.182.138 03:57, 25 December 2006 (UTC)Huges[reply]

I've never actually seen it as "ViVO" (with a lowercase 'i'), it's always all caps. [2] I moved it to "Video In Video Out", which is a pretty common way to disambiguate acronyms. --Mrwojo 00:38, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Practical Uses? I am a casual pc user surfing the web looking to find out why VIVO is useful. I have the right PC card and I have the vivo cable, what practical functionality and benefits can VIVO bring? please help... kw123

its mostly just for just playing downloading/recording tv shows and movies on your tv instead of having to do junk like burn to a disc and use a divx mpeg-4 dvd player
I use it for BeyondTV, so my PC is nothing more than a glorified Tivo. It is actually very useful for using a TV as a PC monitor.--LocrialTheSequel 22:38, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Should this topic be renamed VIVO Port or Video In Video Out port? -- XenoL-Type 20:05, 20 May 2007
