How many? and Copper or bronze?
[edit]Dear Wikipedians,
Various sources give different numbers of medals. Then there are those that claim that the medal is made of bronze, not copper.
I have seen the numbers 6 334 522 on the English Wikipedia and 5 700 000 on A Guide to British Campaign Medals of WW1 op [1]. On The Long, Long Trail, The British Army in the Great War of 1914-1918 on [2] the number 5,725,000 was given.
Who is right in this case?
Faithfully yours,
