Order of the Bath award
[edit]His casualty record held by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission indicates he held the C.B. (Companion of the Order of the Bath) but I will check up other sources before mentioning it. Not sure if it was in the Civil or Military Division. Its ribbon (in fact no medal ribbons at all) does not appear on his uniformed portraits so it may have been a late in life award.Cloptonson (talk) 22:34, 25 February 2013 (UTC) I have found no evidence - from London Gazette archive, Dictionary of National Biography, Who Was Who and article on him Journal of the Royal Army Medical Corps - he was awarded the C.B.Cloptonson (talk) 22:10, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
