– As per discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Cricket#Neilsen sisters, these are inconsistent with each other, so would be good to get some sort of formal WP:CONSENSUS. Vibeke's surname looks to be Nielsen as per [1]. Joseph2302 (talk) 15:34, 23 April 2021 (UTC) —Relisting. Bada Kaji (talk) 11:11, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- Don't you mean : "Vibeke Nielsen" as that is what I see on that page? How reliable is that site in comparison to the cricinfo / cricketarchive sources used on the pages in question? The names need some sort of WP:V before we can do this. Spike 'em (talk) 15:53, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
- yes corrected, I meant Nielsen. And Nielson, spelt that way, is the most common surname in Denmark, which makes me think that Cricinfo is wrong/using a bad anglicised version of the name. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:05, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
- Besides the Cricket Europe page Vibeke Nielsen can be found on Danish Cricket Associations site, in their magazine from 2001 on page 19 she is number 1 under "Gærdespil Damer Øst (Kreds 39)". Inger and Susanne Nielsen are mentioned in "Real International Cricket: A History in One Hundred Scorecards", with the correct spelling. Did some new googling for support of the this RM, Inger Nielsen is part of this article from September 2019 (links to google webcache as the page otherwise is behind paywall), where she mentions she played in the 1997 Women's World Cup in India. - Support: I've never seen this surname spelt "Neilsen" in Danish, it would be highly unusual. Official and reliable Danish sources spell the surname as "Nielsen". Richard3120 (talk) 18:55, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
Just for the record I support a move to Nielsen, but since I got mutual friends with them, and have worked to find reliable alternative sources, I'm not sure my vote would be regarded as objective :) Moedk (talk) 08:36, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
