Renamed?
[edit]User:BilCat says they've dropped American from their name, but I find no evidence of that in cited sources or in their latest annual report or web pages such as the about page, which still say American Helicopter Society (AHS). What's the deal? I moved it back once, but BilCat moved it again asserting that we should be following this new name. Shouldn't we wait and be sure we're following reliable sources for what they're called, and use the more recognizable name in the meantime? Dicklyon (talk) 19:42, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
- You are correct, Dicklyon. As of March 2015, the "About AHS" Web page begins, "The American Helicopter Society (AHS) International is the ...". The organization clearly has not dropped "American" from its name. — QuicksilverT @ 15:08, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
