[edit]

Hello @Diannaa:

Following is the complete text I wrote; all that is in bold is "copied" (not so systematically in all cases) from "Veronica Rudge Green Prize in Urban Design". gsd.harvard.edu. Retrieved Oct 16, 2024.{{cite web}}: CS1 maint: url-status (link)
and, in brackets and indented, my thoughts/comments about the "copy" that precedes said brackets.

The Veronica Rudge Green Prize in Urban Design is a biennual award that recognizes exemplary acknowledges remarquable urban design projects

["recognizes exemplary" changed for "acknowledges remarquable". "rewards" instead of "acknowledges" would be better but can't use it, what with the word "award" only two words before it.]
[Apart from that, do you see another way for saying "urban design projects"? I don't.]
[30 words on the source before the next "copy", 2 different sentences.]

that include more than one building or an open space

[Do you see another way for saying that? I don't.]
[14 words on the source before the next "copy", 2 different propositions.]

, that improve the quality of urban life

[Do you see a way of saying that with other words? I don't.]
[5 words on the source before the next "copy"]

and that have a humane

[Do you see another way for saying that? I don't. I looked for synonyms, got this: compassionate, kind, kindly, kind-hearted, considerate, understanding, sympathetic, tolerant, civilized, good, good-natured, gentle, lenient. I find that none fits the bill tightly enough.]

and beneficial impact. It is attributed by Harvard University's Graduate School of Design (Mass., U.S.A.) and was founded in 1986 on the occasion of to mark Harvard University’s 350th anniversary the 350th anniversary of Harvard University and the 50th anniversary of the Graduate School of Design.

["on the occasion of" changed for "to mark".]
["Harvard University’s 350th anniversary" changed for "the 350th anniversary of Harvard University". A note on that further down.]
[apart from that change i just made, do you see another way for saying that? I don't.]

The section 'Past recipients' can obviously only be a copy. It's a list, can't make it up.

Note
"Harvard University’s 350th anniversary" changed for "the 350th anniversary of Harvard University":

using the exact same form as the proposition that follows it, makes for a nice balance. But:
1) I feel that's nitpicking and all in all not a good example to give - too easy to do, some could take it as a justification for doing the same for more important writings -, but you asked for it ; that said,
2) I darn well hope that I'm not living in a world where any education establishment as reknown as that one would not feel thoroughly ashamed for being that petty. It's not as if it was, god forbid, actual original research; and when i have been on the receiving hand, i have been quite pleased that little known parts of my actions were mentioned elsewhere even with a couple of "copy" here and there. Still, all in all, the small changes are for the better. Part of 'not giving the wrong example'.

But in truth,
1) i think that what hooked you was the "recognizes exemplary", it's quite caracteristic of a certain turn of phrase; and it didn't take long to change. Nor did changing "on the occasion of" for "to mark".
2) All in all it was not blatant "unambiguous copyright" in the first place: no whole sentences copied; what's left of the "copy" (where it says, underlined, "Do you see a way of saying that with other words / another way of saying that? I don't.") are expressions that won't be changed without becoming awkwardly heavy or are so standard that there is, or at least I find, nothing that could really replace them.
Of course you are very welcome to try your hand at modifying these 3 remaining "copy", I sincerely would be interested to see how and would definitely take note.
3) had it been me finding this, I would:
3a) have done the above-mentioned modifs myself, no problem, done it countless times for such short ones - just because i take the time to think about the person who's taken the trouble to write it, otherwise life is not worth living, neither for me nor for the other one or anyone else for that matter;
3b) have looked at how many pages are linked to this one, found that there are 16 pages that have a link, and would have abstained adding "Notability" as a criterium for deletion, speedy or not - else many many other articles will have to be deleted before the "notability" thing becomes relevant for that one. Trigger-happy with critics/banners? Refer to the end of (3a).

So yes, I do believe that "This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because".
