Notability
[edit]Despite the advertising nature of the original posting and the stubby condition of the article, this subject appears genuinely notable; her books have been reliably reviewed and are cited in a substantial number of other works. Some real improvement could be made here. Serpent's Choice 19:42, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, we just need some sources to back it up. Sorry about the tag. --Ronz 04:35, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

References
[edit]Hello Ronz, Please help me understand why you deleted the publications listing on the Verna Allee entry? I was alerted by one of my colleagues that this bio entry was flagged as needing third party publications. I did not realize there was a Verna Allee entry, but for obvious reasons I am concerned that what is there be accurate, which is why I did the update. The entry noted that the references need to be third party publications and I was in complete agreement that the original references certainly did not fill that requirement. I understood that to be not just books but also anything that had been published in mainstream journals as well. May I ask please what was your objection to the publication list I posted and how I can make sure that this entry more accurately represents my work? Regards, Verna Allee212.110.75.111 04:51, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
I think I just figured it out. I had the list under references, references are for the entry itself. I posted the article list again. This time under the heading "Articles" I hope that is what the problem was. If you have issued with one of the articles then please just delete the one that bothers you instead of just dumping the whole list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.110.75.111 (talk) 05:28, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- I think they should be removed again, because I see no reason why such a list belongs in an encyclopedia article. --Ronz 15:30, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. That this is an encyclopedia, not a website which hosts résumés, is exactly the point. — Athaenara ✉ 16:28, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
No, problem. I thought that was what was being requested. As far as the book, the publisher is an Indian Publisher so I have no idea what the actual circulation is. If it doesn't fit your understanding of verifiable third party publications then that is fine. You guys have a tough and probably thankless job, and even though I don't understand how all this works I do understand and appreciate that your intent is in the spirit of keeping high quality.212.110.75.111 18:36, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
