At-large vs. District 1
[edit]I'd like to create a new article for Vermont's 1st congressional district. It would be an obsolete district occurring when Vermont had multiple districts. Since there were multiple representatives, technically it shouldn't be under this header since those reps were not elected statewide at-large. Thoughts?????.....Pmeleski 11:27, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- The district is considered "At-large" because Vermont only has one congressional district. This is the same format used for the other states which have only one member representing them in the U.S. House of Representatives, for other examples of this format, please see Alaska, Delaware, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. --TommyBoy (talk) 05:57, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
