Treaty Article 1 states areas transferred

Article 1
(1) The Swiss Confederation takes from the Federal Republic of Germany:
a. In the town of Kreuzlingen, Thurgau, an area of 43 m2 between boundary stones 15 to 17 (Map No. 1);
b. in the community Hemishofen, Schaffhausen, an area of 10,489 m2 between boundary stones 308-323 (Map No. 3);
c. in the communities Büttenhardt and Opfertshofen, Canton Schaffhausen, an area of 128,732 m2 between boundary stones 700-709 (Map No. 5);
d. in the municipality Merishausen, Canton Schaffhausen, an area of 300,000 m2 between boundary stones 667-682 (Map No. 5);
e. in the community Merishausen, Canton Schaffhausen, an area of 19,000 m2 between boundary stones 653-656 (Map No. 6);
f. in the community Bargen, Schaffhausen, an area of 31,000 m2 between boundary stones from 632 to 637, and an area of 2000 m2 between boundary stones from 645 to 646 (Map No. 6);
g. in the municipality Neuhausen Rhine Falls, Schaffhausen, an area of 398 m2 between boundary stones 13 to 15 (Map No. 7);
h. in the community Schleitheim, Canton Schaffhausen, an area of 38,250 m2 between boundary stones 427-478 (Maps Nos. 8 and 9).
(2) The Federal Republic of Germany takes from the Swiss Confederation:
a. In the community of Konstanz, Konstanz district, an area of 43 m2 between boundary stones 15 to 17 (Map No. 1);
b. in the community Oehningen, Konstanz district, an area of 5390 m2 between boundary stones from 415 to 418 a (Map No. 2);
c. in the community Oehningen, Konstanz district, an area of 99 m2 between boundary stones 321-322 (Map No. 3);
d. in the community Rielasingen, Konstanz district, an area of 5000 m2 boundary stones 222-225 (Map No. 4);
e. in the community Wiechs am Randen, Konstanz district, an area of 428,732 m2 within the boundary stones 1 to 47 (Map No. 5);
f. in the community Wiechs am Randen, Konstanz district, an area of 52,000 m2 between boundary stones 646-653 (Map No. 6);
g. in the town of Altenburg, Waldshut district, an area of 398 m2 between boundary stones 13 to 15 (Map No. 7);
h. in the communities Stühlingen, Weizen and Grimmelshofen, Waldshut district, an area of 38,250 m2 between boundary stones 444-474 (Maps Nos. 8 and 9).
Note that for both part (1) and part (2), the total area of 529,912 m2 is the amount that each nation transferred to the other nation, so that the net change in area was zero.
