Expatriate or emigrant?

She was a STUDENT in Germany. That is usually not considered to be any of the defining permanent-emigrant categories. Please stop trying to reflect all international moves as categorizations. She was in Germany at least 4 years as a student. This is also where she met her future husband. It seems a defining phase of her life.John Pack Lambert (talk) 20:51, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lots of people live as students for a few years in some other country. It is not a thing that defines them as being an immigrant to that country.
