This leaves me doubting the subject's notability, although the phrase "venture equity" does come up in a smattering of articles on Google Scholar. The statement you referenced is the personal opinion of an individual quoted in the article rather than a major point of discussion within the piece, and the remainder of the article gives significant coverage to the topic of venture equity and how it differs from other investment strategies.
