Will this movie have a box office failure?

Final?
[edit]I don't understand why editors think it is necessary to claim anything is final in film articles when we can never really know that for sure with Hollywood. Nothing is final if the money is right. In general I do not think editors should be making such dubious claims at all, and especially not in the lead section.
In this case at least editors are not making it up themselves, and we actually have a source making the claim but I don't have much confidence in TheWrap as a source to begin with but even they only claim it is the "Final Bow for Now" they know full well it isn't really the end.[1] (I do not trust this source and it is basically speculating but it generally meets Wikipedia WP:RS standards so I didn't delete it.) Nonetheless we also have the industry journal Variety which is a very reliable source saying Sony is not finished[2] and I do not understand why some editors think it is acceptable to delete this reliable source simple because they happen to disagree with it.
There was already an ongoing discussion about this Talk:Sony's_Spider-Man_Universe#Is_the_Sonyverse_ending,_or_not?
It is not acceptable to delete reliable sources from this encyclopedia because you happen to disagree with the source. -- 109.78.197.162 (talk) 03:20, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
