I have completed my initial attempt to write a complete article. It could probably use more specific references through out and maybe some newer facts. I would appreciate additions and clarifications. Special thanks to Josh Lerner from whom I grabbed much of the historical and present details. Jasondiceman 23:23, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nice article, I am removing the cleanup-tone tag because the article seems to meet wikipedia's definition of a formal tone. Questioning81 21:43, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Very interesting article, I work in Chile, and the Regional Government of Bio Bio is considering baby steps towards something similar. Regarding the Unit of Social Control, I think a better translation of the Spanish "control" would be oversight, as "control" in English has different connotations. --Scott Clerk (talk) 13:42, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I applied this change as suggested.Jason Diceman (talk) 19:14, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A new article on Venezuelanalysis.com (November 25 2009 "Venezuela’s Reformed Communal Council Law Aims at Increasing Participation") has made me aware of several reforms to the Communal Council law, which I have recently applied to the article. That said, I'm not confident all the other details are fully up-to-date, as I have not been focused on CCs much since 2007. It would be great to have someone in Venezuela review and update this article.Jason Diceman (talk) 19:14, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ATTENTION: The article is complete bullshit. It reads as if written by communist Venezuela's propaganda minister. Grow up.. 70.192.192.131 (talk) 04:21, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any specific suggestions for improvement? DavidLeighEllis (talk) 04:23, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Developing article using reliable sources

[edit]

Over the last few months, this article has been developed off into uncharted waters (AKA WP:OR) by IP contributors providing absolutely no reliable sources (let's not even mention any semblance of verifiable sources, be they reliable or WP:BIASED).

Thanks to Bobrayner for removing a great chunk of much of this mess. Nevertheless, there is unverifiable content remaining.

Please, if you intend to develop the article, be sure that you provide reliable sources to back up your additions. Thank you all, in advance, for your co-operation. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 04:51, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have also removed a section that appears to be OR to this talk page for further reference checking.
Here it is:
This article did have a problem with WP:OR but as it sits right now, some sources may be found.--ZiaLater (talk) 00:44, 1 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Venezuelan Communal Councils. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
