I series license plates

On this page it says:

In August 2024, the general issue had reached the "J" sequence, having skipped the "I" series.

But that doesn't looks to be correct. I own a car with a 1IXX999 license plate. And I see other cars with that range also. So that statement isn't true. 2406:2D40:20DC:EF10:665D:5C1E:E8F5:7237 (talk) 13:40, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
