What range
How many KM the Vega launchers could do used as rocket? And Lyra IV?My cousin (nuclear engineer teacher)told me that they can be used also as rockets for civil or military aims. Can somebody answer? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vindobona (talk • contribs) 15:11, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Long Development time
Since this rocket seems to have such a long development time of almost 14 years, it would be nice if someone with maybe some inside knowledge could elaborate on the problems that were faced during development (lack of funding, technical issues, delays due to international cooperation etc.) in addition to the last section where launch delays are briefly mentioned (it only covers the last two years). In comparison both the Falcon 1 and 9 from SpaceX had only about 6 years of development time.91.16.117.241 (talk) 23:39, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

- what is Soyuz but a converted ICBM ? last time I checked there will be institutional flights on it, from French Guiana
- Falcon will fly before VEGA_ it is not a paper rocket
- Eurockot of EADS ST was perfectly sufficient for European needs, ESA had no problem launching p/l such as Cryosat on it
- regarding attrition, there are 200 Dnepr in stock, to start with
- Falcon will fly before VEGA_ it is not a paper rocket........what do you base your claim on?
- re Eurockot one needs to keep in mind that Germany do not participate in the project, and as a consequence have no say in this.
- as the major financer of the EU and all its pet projects, Germany participates in everything. They should definitely have a say in it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.84.244.60 (talk) 22:11, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
- What is this thing? "Falcon will fly before VEGA"... posted on the day after the latter launched? How does that even make sense? 131.193.233.253 (talk) 02:22, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
POV
- I do think a lot of people in Europe have shortcomings with the development of such a vehicle, which might be seen as a redundant capability, at a time when money is such a scarce resource in Europe. I think this point of view should be reflected as well in this article. Hektor 20:56, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
Usa have to use EU or russian vehicles now to get ISS successfully with people or huge quantity of goods.I think Usa are in full decadence in many sectors.Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vindobona (talk • contribs) 15:08, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Ecological topic
It would be important to add ecological topic to this article. In particular:
- the solid fuel may create many particles (chemical dust) in the Earth atmosphere.
- UDMH is very toxic.

Fair use rationale for Image:Elevation-Vega blanc.jpg
Image:Elevation-Vega blanc.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The fact that an encoded copyright is on this site, probably implies that they can reconstitute or annilate what they left out stolen.

"test"?
No distinction is made between static tests (of full multi-ton configurations, still a significant event) and test launches. Need to go back to sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.238.241.3 (talk) 08:08, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- already the rocket have 10 test.--Bolzanobozen (talk) 15:34, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
