Vanessa wasn't Veri Knotty, Veri Knotty was a stripper & porn actress who had labial lips long enough to tie in a knot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.120.135.2 (talk • contribs) 23:38, 4 January 2006
I remember reading that vanessa was the sister of Debbie Allen who starred in the early 80's show "fame" and Phylicia Rashād who played the wife of Bill Cosby "Clair Huxtable". Supposedely they are all sisters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.215.162.63 (talk • contribs) 06:44, 11 December 2006
I'm sorry; I didn't notice that you were using the King magazine interview as a source or I would have only removed McDonnell as a source (instead of reverting the whole edit). The page in question from McDonnell is a breezy account of a porn shoot, not a reliable source for a fact in a WP:BLP. — Malik ShabazzTalk/Stalk20:07, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Still not sure about your reasoning about the other source as an RS, though. An account of a porn shoot -- heck, even a "breezy" one -- should be fine in WP if it's from an adequate secondary source and doesn't contravene BLP, NPOV and the like. Right? Think of how WP would treat anyone else's memoirs. But the source could still be questioned on other grounds: its publisher, i.e. degree of editorial oversight, as well as whether its wording fits the proposed wording in the article. All of this being moot, of course, given that the other source suffices. --Occasional24531 (talk) 19:17, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
