Jaguar and Vanden Plas in the USA

I always used to think that Jaguar Cars used and still uses the Vanden Plas name in the USA instead of Daimler because of Daimler AG owning the rights. I did, however, find out that the Daimler name isn't used because it is associated with trucks and not luxurious cars. I will have to find a source of this information. Austin Vanden Plas models

The list of Austin Vanden Plas models is not complete. The Austin Ambassador also had a VP model, but I'm reluctant to change this because I'm not sure about the production dates. Fodfish (talk) 01:04, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
