In reversing a needless change - unless Vancouver-Kensington should now be in the "defunct" group - I noticed blanks where the Vancouver Island section headings are. No doubt some earnest editor thought "those aren't in Vancouver!" and deleted them. No, but they're named Vancouver, from and in the days when that word didn't mean Burrard Inlet, but ONLY meant Vancouver Island; long story; they have a historical existence and they were listed on this page because of the confusion,as those artifcles exists and should be indexed with others of like name, no? I guess I have to dig them out again; I'll try and cite all these defunct ones especially because it seems like people who don't know electoral history well will alwaysbe making edits ot the page, thinking they're right....Skookum1 (talk) 04:44, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
