Van der Waals → Van der Waals (disambiguation) – Johannes Diderik van der Waals should be the WP:PTOPIC by long-term significance, and probably usage as well. I have added a hatnote to that article. feminist (talk) 15:03, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

- Support per nomination. In the same manner as Brunel, Faraday, Leibniz, Lomonosov, Tsiolkovsky and various other surnames redirect to their most famous namesakes, so should this redirect. Unlike Newton, this surname has very little competition, with Van der Waals force, Van der Waals equation, Van der Waals radius and Van der Waals (crater) testifying to subject's prominence.
