rm merge proposition
as no one seems to support this proposition (see: Theory of value (economics)), I removed it. Dick Bos (talk) 16:20, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Is there a SI unit for value?
Please tell me if there is an internationally-agreed unit for value. I know, most use dollars, but what is the scientifically-agreed unit?--MathFacts (talk) 10:19, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
Burke 2005?
There's a citation of burke 2005 on this page that I wasn't able to connect to anything except this page: http://train-srv.manipalu.com/wpress/?p=115223 which is copyrighted (but my guess is that they took content from here and not the other way around. Anyone knows about Burke? MarioPaolucci (talk) 12:18, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Value vs. utility
In a university economics course of mine, the professor presented utility as a function of value. This article seems to conflate the two concepts. Yes, value should be in terms of dollars. The units of utility are utils. The "benefit" that a person derives from a good should be in utils, I believe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.132.3.10 (talk) 14:07, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
