Requested move

The result of the move request was: not moved, proposer appears to agree with the oppose. There may be a better title for this article, if usage in reliable sources can be found. -- JHunterJ (talk) 13:02, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Valu – the bullValu – Article should be moved back to its original released name "Valu". Somebody moved it to the current article name. Even IMDB says considers "Valu" as the original name. As original title page exists, move is not permitted. Valu at IMDb Thanks. - VivvtTalk 20:42, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. If WP were an encyclopedia of film, I would support the proposed move. But it is not!
The present title is not ideal, for two reasons: its punctuation is arbitrary and irregular; it is useless to most readers, since they can have no inkling that the topic is a film. That is primary information. But the situation would be worse with the bare title "Valu", which figures in a large number of existing titles as a commercial respelling of "value" (see this internal WP search), and also in other ways. Because the topic is obscure for most readers, the title Valu (film) would be optimal. Short, undoubtedly helpful and beneficial in a worldwide encyclopedia, a disadvantage to no one, anywhere, ever. • Makes more sense. Thanks. - VivvtTalk 23:44, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment, this proposal would be appropriate per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:PRECISION. However, Wikipedia:Naming conventions (films) indicates: use the title more commonly recognized by English readers. In this case, I think that would be The Wild Bull, as listed at IMDb. ENeville (talk) 00:35, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is recognized as Valu by the English readers. Only IMDB recognizes it by that name. (Don't know why. But weird!) §§AnimeshKulkarni (talk) 15:32, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I could imagine that such might be the case, but do we have any evidence in reliable sources to that effect? ENeville (talk) 15:40, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Valu (film). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
