[edit]There is a line at the beginning of this article that reads:
'Bertinelli appeared in all but two episodes, remaining on the show until it was canceled in 1984. At one point, she and Franklin were involved in plans for a spin-off series, but it was never produced'.
No one by the name of Franklin is mentioned in the article prior to this statement, so it poses the question of "Franklin who?" to readers.
Could someone clear this up by adding to the article information on who "Franklin" is?

- My daughter’s father is someone whom worked for Van Halen about 83ish. Jack Shubert younger brother Mike. They are dead beat dad’s. I am Nancy Shubert, Jack is the father of Jennifer and Lisa Shubert. Julie is Mike’s but Uncle Mike steps in and negates me, rude to me. M girls are so infatuated with the absent father and uncle. I am the bad bad mother, whom raised 2 girls without “co-parenting was a behavior”. Can I accept Jack left is totally? Do not I cry that his daughter uninvited me to her 2nd wedding ? - Is it just me, or is anyone else wondering what bearing this could possibly have on the article? Or why someone who wrote two books on their struggles with food addiction would then host a bunch of cooking shows? – AndyFielding (talk) 21:14, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
Is it Val or Valerie?
[edit]Was she ever called Val as a nickname? Some publication dating back to the 1970's or 1980's referred her as Val Bertinelli? The other Valerie in show business (was often referred to Valerie Harper), (But Valerie Harper died in 2019 at the age of 80 from brain cancer) I know that Val as a feminine name often referred to Valerie than Valentina? But for Bertinelli always went by her birth name "Valerie" during or before her marriage to Eddie Van Halen (guitarist of the namesake band Van Halen? The name Valentina is a little more modern than Valerie (Like Michaela is a little more modern than Michelle). Winnebaggo (talk) 13:40, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
Pronounciation of Valerie's last name
[edit]Is it pronounced Bert-i-nelli or Ber-en-nelli? Winnebaggo (talk) 17:03, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
