His philanthropic behavior, combined with a striking similarity in appearance to Al Bundy, the main character from the TV series Married... With Children, has gotten him much undue fame in Estonia. Random strangers often give him a tap on the shoulders and present him their palms, asking for money to go play tennis. He has been confirmed to hand out sums up to and including 50 EEK, the sum often depending on the amount of media present to witness the event. On April 24th 2010, however, a few anonymous sources came forward to the Estonian gossip website Elu24, stating that Valdo had handed them sheets of toilet paper instead of actual money and told them to "Wipe yourselves to death, shitfaces!"
