Unclear
[edit]Is the ankle bent, so the toes and balls of the feet are in contact with the floor, or is the ankle straight, so the tops of the feet contact the floor? The practitioner is sitting on the heels in either case, so the description as it stands is not clear.

According to Yoga Simplified by Praveen Kapadia, you're supposed to keep your heels apart while the big toes touch each other.

That does not clarify anything, the big toes can touch each other whether one is on the balls of their toes or the surface of the foot, Septegram, and I, are asking if this is the same/more akin to the Japanese Seiza, or Kiza positions.
