Vaishvanare is not a name of Agni!
[edit]In fact "Vaishvanara" is related to Agni but not identical with him for he is called "Agni Vaishvanara" in the Jaiminiya Brahmana 1, 45. According to Satapatha Brahmana 11.6.2.10 it seems to mean the offering of Prajapai.--91.17.204.232 (talk) 15:04, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
Atma is not the soul!
[edit]the word is related with the german word Atem (meaning breath) and is identical to the hebrew Neshama meaning Odem of lifes (life in plural). In the Upanishads Atma is the silent witness, which is confirmed by the fact that the Neshama is derived from shama meaning hearing. The meaning is in both cases that Atma is the witness of all actions and thoughts and therefore the storage of Karma which rules the incarnations of jiva, the spirit of a being. Atma also is a part of the Paramatma which means the universal life odem. 2003:F5:F710:CB00:85D3:DCFB:93E3:50A8 (talk) 14:32, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
