I do not see a contradiction in this article with the article Eastern European Time, which makes in quite clear that Vardø, which is somewhat east and north of Vadsø and still in Norway, uses UTC+1. UTC+1 is the time zone specified for Vadsø in its data table. UTC+1 is not Eastern European Time; it is mentioned in the article on Eastern European Time because of its anomalous use by regions that lie closer to the meridian for Eastern European Time (UTC+2) than to the meridian for UTC+1. Far northeastern Norway, including both Vardø and Vadsø, is one such region. The map included in the Eastern European Time article also clearly shows that these two places fall in the region keeping Central European Time (UTC+1) or Central European Summer Time (UTC+2), exactly as stated in the Vadsø article. Steilneset Memorial
[edit]Shouldn't this huge monument by an internationally famous artist and an internationally famous architect be included here, under the subheading of Culture? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steilneset_Memorial Robert P Connolly (talk) 07:38, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
