Would it be worth including the DEC Technical Character Set?[1]

There's no need to paste in content from references, particularly when there's no discussion in the topic which ties together multiple references. Tedickey (talk) 13:54, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't "paste" it from the reference. The idea was to make it easy to include in the article in case anyone thought that it would be a good idea, and I was hoping that someone who's familiar with the VT330 and VT420 would know if it's relevant. —StuartBrady (Talk) 15:27, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
VT220 and up support a dozen or so character sets, counting the National Replacement Characters stuff (vttest can show them, for instance). But few applications use them (I don't know of any) - both since they're specialized, as well as because the particular selection is combined only in DEC terminals or in a few terminal emulators. Unreferenced claim regarding rectangles

[edit]

The user's guide doesn't make any claims that this was the first terminal to implement rectangle operations. Tedickey (talk) 10:28, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
