Comments
  • The lead is rather short; I would particularly like to see more "hard facts" about the train there. Also, some of the content in the lead is not mentioned in the body.
  • Try to avid mixing digits and spelled-out numbers in the same sentence (e.g. "two trainsets and 23 options"). (fixed)
  • Link currencies, use ISO codes for when used later in the article. (fixed)
  • Avoid using the word "claim", as it has a negative annotation, see WP:WEASEL. Instead, say that he "stated" or similar.
  • Don't say "at the end of the year 1997", but just "at the end of 1997". (fixed)
  • Avoid using internal references to other parts of the article. (fixed)
  • Names of ships are in italics. (fixed)
  • The phrase " to speed up its weight of" reads very awkward.
  • Temperature and noise levels are not referenced.
  • There is a citation needed tag which needs to be resolved.
  • Please find a better term than "professionnal help".
  • I am a bit concerned about the "criticism" section. All the content there is valid, but in general criticism sections are frowned upon as they are inherently POV. I would recommend that he content be merged into the history section. See for instance NSB Class 73 where the criticism has been woven in.
  • Avoid using all-caps in references, instead use "start case".
  • Image licenses check out good.

I am placing the article on hold. Although there are a few issues, overall it is quite good. Arsenikk (talk) 13:42, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback. I was wondering about the criticism section as well, I will merge it in the main history section within a few days in addition to fixing the other minor problems.--Yaamboo (talk) 05:22, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
All right, I've tried to fix the problems now. --Yaamboo (talk) 06:49, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nicknames

[edit]

Removed these from the text, as I could not find a suitable spot to put it in.: The nicknames are Pendo and Sähkömato (electric worm), from the class code for electric multiple units Sm. --Yaamboo (talk) 06:52, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Outdated info on Pendolino service ending on coastal line

[edit]

Pendolino traffic on the coastal line ended in December 2012. The two remaining services were replaced with InterCity trains, which run at similar speeds. According to the VR website there is a daily Pendolino service between Helsinki and Turku --LmXLamar (talk) 13:21, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
