P2 aircraft
[edit]There is no photo of the P-2, which was a key part of VP31’s training program. The only incident was the RP7 P3 that crashed. There was also an RP7 P2 that went down off the coast of San Diego in 1966. No loss of life or injuries. I was stationed there when this happened. I think it’s ironic both were designated RP7.
