Nomination was never transcluded; belatedly closing after nearly 30 months as unsuccessful

  • ...that Uzuncaburç was the sacred place of the Olba people? Source ISBN 978-605-4196-07-4, pp. 224-227

Created by Nedim Ardoğa (talk). Self-nominated at 07:39, 24 February 2019 (UTC).[reply]

  • Nomination was created in February 2019 but never transcluded and never formatted as a proper DYK. It's far too late to do anything with it now; belatedly closing it as unsuccessful. It can be nominated again in future if it is expanded fivefold or if it becomes a Good Article and is nominated within seven days of start of expansion or becoming a GA. Proposed merge with Uzuncaburç (Diokaisareia)

[edit]

The two articles appear to be about the same ancient city, which was renamed under the Roman emperors from Olba to Diocaesarea. Certainly their content overlaps to a considerable degree. Constantine 11:15, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
